Please note: Make sure the value you insure your home contents for is as accurate as possible. If you’re overinsured, you won’t get paid more—you’ll only be reimbursed for the actual replacement cost. 

If you’re underinsured, your payout will be limited to the amount you specified, because your premium was based on that lower value. Bottom line: accurate values mean fair cover.

How do I get a quote on a single item?

Get a quote via the app: Sign in to your Pineapple account and tap the “+” icon at the bottom of the screen. Take a snap of the item you wish to insure. Fill in a few details, and voila, you’ll be given a final quote in 60 secs or less.

How do I submit a claim via the website?

Click “Submit a claim” (top right corner). Sign into your account. Follow the steps to log your claim. Once logged, one of our friendly agents will be in touch with an update on your claim.
