Matthew is an actuary with a degree in actuarial science and mathematical statistics from Wits University. With more than a decade in the insurance industry, he has led projects in capital allocation, pricing models, and product development, contributing to both trade credit insurance and reinsurance innovation.
As a co-founder and MD of Pineapple, he oversees product development, data, and AI, focusing on innovation and business automation. Recognised in Forbes’ Top 30 under 30 and as a winner of Ventureclash (USA, 2019), Matthew is a director at Pineapple and is driven by problem-solving and new technology.
